Brilliance.
Brilliance was the first truly elevated product and packaging design that Rubbermaid had (to this point) released. While previously falling into a care needstate, this product lands on the control side of the spectrum.
The goal was to design refined and simple packaging that provided the brand with an upscale look and presented the benefits of this new product in a dynamic way.

Balance.
The biggest challenge of this project was developing a packaging structure that both showcased the product and allowed for consumer interaction, while still protecting and securing it within the structure.
Along with the packaging structure, I designed the graphics for the prep containers, meal kit and set boxes. I utilized key shot to create product renderings that helped our marketing team visualize how we would shoot the product photography and apply it to the packaging.

Freshworks.
Freshworks 2.0. This product line is an extension of the existing Rubbermaid produce saver line, with a fresher, cleaner look. I designed the packaging to reflect that, utilizing food photography for pops of color, as well as the color palette from the product design.
The first four images below were my initial design concepts and the last image is the final product after feedback, review and approval from the marketing team.

Tossables.
A new line of eco-friendly food storage containers and a first for Rubbermaid. The packaging needed to clearly callout the main benefit of this product, while also outlining other important “reasons to believe.”
