Conceptual project for the Newell Design Fair.

The new First Alert Cocoon product line are a series of products that build on their expertise in safety and security with a focus on the college student and young adults entering their first home. A wi-fi enabled safe keeps your laptop, passport, headphones, electronics and money secure. 

This project started with an ideation session to explore and develop the product’s general purpose and function. Once we collectively landed on a direction, the industrial designers created and refined it’s form, aesthetic and function.

We worked cross-functionally between the Kalamazoo, Chicago and Hoboken design offices to develop a variety of deliverables. I designed the Onelink Cocoon booklet—included in the product packaging—and the product’s website landing page.
